A British registered Spanish fishing vessel was apprehended by the Naval patrol ship, LE Aoife, yesterday for alleged under recording of fish.
The vessel was apprehended 39 miles north west of Erris Head and was under escort to Galway last night.
It is the seventh fishing vessel arrest recorded by the Naval Service this year.
