South Africa may deport garda

A former garda accused of assaulting two American women in a house in Dalkey last June was expected to be deported from South Africa last night. Gardai were unable to find the man at his address in the Republic last year but he was later found in South Africa. It is believed he will fly to Frankfurt, Germany, where he may remain as an EU citizen. If he connecting flight lands in Dublin Airport at 11 a.m. today.
