NEW YORK – Eight US soldiers have been charged with bullying a fellow soldier who apparently shot himself in southern Afghanistan.
Pte Danny Chen (19), from New York, was found in a guard tower in Kandahar province with what the army described as a self-inflicted wound.
The military said eight soldiers face charges ranging from dereliction of duty, assault, negligent homicide and involuntary manslaughter. – (Reuters)
