Lisbon - Portugal's ruling Socialists kept control of the key cities of Lisbon and Oporto in local authority elections on Sunday, according to television exit polls. The vote in 305 districts, ranging from the capital to small towns and villages, was the first test of the popularity of the minority Socialist government led by Mr Antonio Guterres since it took power in October 1995 general elections.
