Heavy snowfall in Fermanagh and Tyrone caused significant disruption yesterday, making driving conditions hazardous in many parts of the counties and forcing the closure of a number of schools, writes Tia Clarke in Belfast.

Snow rose to 10cm deep in some places. Driving tests were cancelled in the Enniskillen and Omagh areas. While roads were cleared by yesterday afternoon, the Met Office issued severe weather warnings throughout Northern Ireland for today.
