SOFIA - Police said yesterday they had found 12 Bulgarian children hidden in a tourist coach heading for Turkey in the biggest case of human smuggling for 20 years.

The children, from Bulgaria's ethnic Turkish minority, had been expected to join relatives in Turkey. The smugglers were due to receive over £400 per child, police said.
