LONDON - Scientists-yesterday outlined findings of a major new study showing women face a slightly increased risk of breast cancer for up to 10 years - after they stop taking the contraceptive pill.

The research, which covered more than 100,000 women from around the world, revealed 1 per cent more cases of breast cancer - in women who had used the pill compared with those who had not.
