Six people have been arrested as part of a Garda invesigation into prostitution in Cork City.
The Garda Press Office said in a statement the three men and three women were arrested this morning in Cork. They are being held in various stations around the city.
Under Section Four of the Ciminal Justice Act they can be held for up to 24 hours before being either charged or released.
