Six men were being questioned by detectives in Derry after a dissident republican Easter event when a masked man said that the Real IRA would continue to mount attacks on police.

The event was organised by the 32 County Sovereignty Movement, the political wing of the Real IRA.

The masked man said there was only one IRA, in response to Sinn Féin’s Declan Kearney who said the IRA had fought the war to a conclusion.
