Workers from Siptu at the Conoco Phillips storage facility in Bantry Bay have begun a 48-hour stoppage this morning.

Workers from Siptu at the Conoco Phillips storage facility in Bantry Bay have begun a 48-hour stoppage this morning.

The workers are seeking equal pay with workers at the National Oil Refinery Authority plant in Whitegate and the restoration of full time off in lieu for unsocial hours, including night shifts.

Siptu and management in Bantry attended the Labour Court in an effort to end the dispute.
