SIPTU has lifted its picket from the European Commission's offices in Dublin following an invitation from the Commission to attend talks in Brussels on pay for its Irish "local agents". These are clerical and administrative staff.
SIPTU wants them to receive pay parity with permanent Commission staff on secondment from Brussels who are doing similar work.
