Gardaí are investigating two shootings in Dublin overnight.

In the first incident, a gunman fired a shot at the front door of a house on Crotty Avenue, Walkinstown, just before 11pm. The house was occupied at the time, but no one was injured.

Shortly after midnight another shooting took place at a house at Rossfield Park, Brookfield, in Tallaght. Two shots were fired at the house, but no one was injured.
