Shots fired at caravan outside Galway city

Shots were fired at a caravan at a halting site on the outskirts of Galway city last night.

Shots were fired at a caravan at a halting site on the outskirts of Galway city last night.

The incident took  place at a halting site on the Headford road at around 1 a.m.

A window in a mobile home was smashed but there were no injuries.

Gardaí said they are seeking two suspects who fled the scene in a silver car. They are following a definite line of enquiry.
