A man escaped injury after shots were fired at his home.

A man escaped injury after shots were fired at his home.

Police said a gunman opened fire at the entrance door to the first floor flat on Upper Stanfield Street in Belfast last night.

The attack occurred at around 10.30pm just after the man had returned home.

Two shots were fired through the front entrance door damaging the walls in the hallway.

Police said no-one was injured in the attack.
