Short condemns Millennium plan

London - The British government sought yesterday to shrug off fresh controversy over the Millennium Dome after it was revealed that the outspoken cabinet minister Ms Clare Short called the project a "silly, temporary building" and said the millions of pounds being spent on the project would be put to better used eliminating world poverty.
