Two men were being questioned by the police in Derry yesterday in connection with the attempted robbery of a shop in the Hazelbank area of the city.
A shop owner received a broken arm and cuts and bruises as he held on to one of the raiders until the police arrived. One of the masked men was armed with a machete.
