The clothing and footwear allowance is being increased this year by £20, the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs has announced. The means-tested allowance is available to the parents of school-going children.
Children between the ages of two and 11 will be entitled to £63 and children of 12 years and older will be entitled to £78.
