MULTAN, Pakistan - A Pakistani Shia Muslim leader said yesterday that the country could face civil war if the government of Mrs Benazir Bhutto failed to check violence between rival Muslim sects. "The country has been handed over to terrorists," the leader of the Tehrik-e-Jafria movement, Mr Allama Sajid Naqvi, said a day after up to 18 people were reported killed in an attack on a Shia meeting.
