Shannon reduces fees for new routes

Airport charges for Shannon Airport are to be reduced in an attempt to attract new airlines to open up routes.

Airport charges for Shannon Airport are to be reduced in an attempt to attract new airlines to open up routes.

In a statement the Shannon Airport Authority said the route incentives offer a discount for five-years. Qualifying routes will be those that are launched in 2008 and offer a net economic benefit to the airport.
