Sinn Fein has selected a councillor, Mr Nicky Kehoe, as its candidate in the Dublin Central constituency at the next general election. It is the constituency of the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern.
Mr Kehoe is a construction worker and was nominated by Cllr Christy Burke at a convention in Dublin yesterday. Mr Burke will be his campaign manager.
