A Galway man admitted at the Central Criminal Court yesterday that he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy last year.
Alan McNeill (29) of Rahoon Park, Galway, admitted committing the offence in the city on May 13th, 1995. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm four days earlier.
Mr Padraig O'Higgins SC, defending, said a probation report on McNeill had not been completed. Mr Justice Geoghegan remanded him to March 27th next for sentence.
