Sexual assault case in court

A man appeared before Drogheda District Court yesterday on 22 charges alleging assault on a woman over seven years. The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces seven sexual assault and 15 indecent assault charges and one alleging attempted rape. The are alleged to have occurred between January, 1986, and September, 1993. Judge Michael Connellan adjourned all charges until June 13th.
