Sex-abuse charges against a former hospital consultant were adjourned until April at Drogheda District Court yesterday as the matter is still before the High Court and waiting for a judicial review hearing. The 21 charges relating to 11 male complainants date from 1963 to 1982. The consultant, who can- not be named for legal reasons, has since retired.
