A seven-year-old boy was killed in a road accident in Co Derry today.
The child was killed in a collision on the Edenmore Road, Limavady, at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.
Detectives have appealed for possible witnesses to come forward, but police stressed the driver of the car involved stopped immediately.
A police spokesman added: "We are keen to speak to the driver of a red or burgundy Ford Mondeo car who may have seen what happened."
