A special prayer service for "all those who have been abused physically, mentally, emotionally or sexually" will take place at 8 p.m. Monday in St Andrew's Church, Westland Row, Dublin.
Archbishop Connell has asked all parishes to consider organising a prayer service for the abused next week.
