A MAJOR security operation is to resume this morning in the Creggan area of Derry.
The RUC said yesterday it was searching for a paramilitary explosive device which may have been abandoned several days ago. The police and army using sniffer dogs are carrying out a search of gardens and waste ground near Circular Road.
