Witness, they say, the success of FF's Dick Roche, Billy Kelleher, John Dennehy and Beverley Cooper Flynn and Independents Harry Blaney and Joe Higgins on June 6th. All were by-election losers during the term of the 27th Dail. Sympathy - and endurance - seem to be the best election strategies of all.
