A second man has been arrested over the shooting incident at Dublin’s Smithfield horse fair last weekend.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 40s this afternoon in Co Galway.
He is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939 at the Bridwell Garda station in Dublin.
A man appeared in court in Dublin today charged with possession of a handgun in connection with the shooting.
