Gardaí are further searching a lake in Co Clare today after the discovery of human body parts yesterday.
It is believed the body parts, including a skull, are those of a young person. Items of clothing were also found yesterday in St Bridget's Lake, Tulla.
Gardaí said the remains had been taken to Midwest Regional Hospital in for examination.
