Search for missing teacher continues

Gardaí are continuing to search for a Dublin schoolteacher who went missing in Connemara on New Year's Eve.

Gardaí are continuing to search for a Dublin schoolteacher who went missing in Connemara on New Year's Eve.

Rosanne Kenny (43), from Kilmacud, was on holidays with her husband and brother when she left a hotel in Tully Cross, north Connemara.

She was driving a green Mazda 626 hatchback, registration number 93D8257.

She is described as being about 5ft 3in, of average build, with short dark hair and blue eyes. She is believed to have been wearing a hip-length coat when last seen.

Gardaí today found a man who had been missing from his Dublin home since last week. Gerard Stearn (59) was found safe and well.

He had been last seen at his home at Monaloe Park Road, Cabinteely, on Friday, January 4th.
