Comedy in the Wodehouse tradition is what Ned Sherrin sets out to do here, and if you're in the mood, his insider snipes at theatrical types will keep you amused throughout this unpretentious tale of an impresario who casts his entire family in a musical, with predictably chaotic results. If you're not in the mood, however, you'll find the phrase "camp as a row of tents" springs to mind rather too often for comfort.
