THE second Science Research Colloquium opens at Sligo RTC this evening. The colloquium, running from May 21st to 23rd and continuing until Friday, brings together students and staff involved in research from 10 RTCs and is organised by the Association of Heads of Science with the support of the Council of Directors of RTCs.
A total of 65 papers will be presented during tomorrow and Friday in a range of scientific disciplines. The event is held to give researchers within the RTC system an opportunity to up-date colleagues and to stimulate research within the colleges.
