An appeal by a man jailed for life for a flame thrower attack on students at his former school was adjourned yesterday because he is in hospital.

Garnet Bell (47), from Inverary Avenue, Belfast, was convicted a year ago of the attempted murder of three teenage boys as they sat A Level exams at Sullivan Upper School, Holywood, Co Down.
