MEXICO CITY - Mr Raul Salinas, the jailed brother of former Mexican president Mr Carlos Salinas, has been cleared of tax fraud charges.
Judge Raul Melgoza Figueroa of the federal appeals court said there was too little evidence to convict Mr Salinas, who remains in a maximum security prison on a host of other charges, including murder.
