Johannesburg - South Africa is considering an arms-for-oil deal with Saudi Arabia, and will discuss it during a visit by the Saudi Defence Minister, Prince Sultan, to Cape Town on Wednesday. Johannesburg's Sunday Independent said President Mandela's government wanted to reduce South Africa's dependence on oil from Iran and the Saudis were hoping to buy mobile artillery and antiaircraft missiles.
