Ryanair said it would contest the decision by Sweden's Consumer Ombudsman to take legal action against the airline after a Ryanair flight was cancelled.

The flight in question was cancelled on May 27th due to heavy fog, and two people demanded compensation from the carrier.

Ryanair said it had refunded the flights and had fully complied with European Union legislation.
