Ryanair has sold 200,000 seats on its routes within 36 hours of announcing its "biggest ever seat sale", it has confirmed. The airline's direct telesales centre has been "inundated with calls", with a team handling more than 20,000 calls an hour since Friday, according to Ryanair's heard of communications, Ms Ethel Power.
Ryanair has one million seats on offer from £19.99 one-way to Britain, Brussels and Paris.
