An Equality Tribunal ruling in favour of a HIV-positive man refused healthcare treatment because of his HIV status was strongly welcomed by the Dublin Aids Alliance yesterday.

Jimmy Goulding, who brought the case, said the ruling would help people with HIV/Aids who experience discrimination daily.
