An RUC and social services investigation is under way into indecency allegations at a Co Tyrone residential school for young adults with special needs.
Police confirmed that a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions concerning sex abuse allegations at Parkanaur Training and Assessment Centre near Dungannon.
It is understood the allegations concern a former employee and the alleged incidents occurred over a period last summer and autumn, according to the Southern Health and Social Services Board.
A spokesman for the board, which is responsible for the Parkanaur centre, said since the alleged incidents the organisation and running of the centre had been restructured to avoid any recurrences of the alleged abuse.
