Mr Daniel Lazarescu and Mr Adrian Ghita could not be found when the Steaua Bucharest team coach left their Oranmore hotel on Sunday morning.

The men, both aged 22, were last seen on Saturday night. The other 33 members of their group flew on to Paris to play a friendly game. A Department of Justice spokesman said the men had not sought asylum.
