A Romanian man who stole £900 in students' money for a holiday from a teacher's jacket in a Dublin school was sentenced to six months imprisonment yesterday. Nicolaie Cracium (30) of Upper Gardiner Street, Dublin, was convicted at Dublin District Court of stealing the money from Chanel College, Coolock on February 10th.

Two of the teachers chased him in a car after the theft was discovered and detained him but the money was not recovered.
