Two masked men armed with knives robbed the Allied Irish Bank on the Dublin Road in Limerick yesterday evening. The raiders held up staff and escaped with several hundred pounds. The getaway car was later found abandoned in Ballysimon. Gardai recovered some money on the back seat.
