Brussels - Belgian police yesterday used water cannon and fought running battles with hundreds of immigrants protesting at the weekend killing of a suspected drugs dealer of Moroccan origin. Police made 170 arrests during protests over the death of Said Charki (24), shot dead by police at a roadblock on Friday. A march by 1,500 protesters degenerated into clashes with youths attacking police and press photographers.
