GLOUCESTER - A Deep Pan Pizza restaurant was ordered to pay £5,338 in fines and costs yesterday after a court heard it had mouldy pizza and out-of-date coleslaw in the fridge. The pizza was so contaminated that it was unsuitable for human consumption, Gloucester Magistrates were told.

The restaurant in Southgate Street, Gloucester, was also operating without a hot water supply for 10 days, according to Ms Yvonne Jones, prosecuting for the city council.
