A HIGH Court judge will be asked next week to stop the RUC imposing another curfew on residents of the lower Ormeau Road in Belfast. Three people from the area yesterday applied for an injunction to cover next week's Apprentice Boys parade along the route, after police confined them to their homes and side streets before the Orange parade on July 11th.

One of the three Ormeau residents seeking the injunction, Patricia Cole, from Hatfield Street, said she could not face the stress of another curfew. The application is likely to be heard on Wednesday.
