Gaeilge has called on the Minister for Education to review her decision to refuse official sanction to four new gaelscoileanna in Ballybrack, Clones, Enniscorthy and Maynooth. Her refusal, according to the organisation, was an "affront to democracy in education".

Ms Helen O Murchu, the president of CnaG, claimed the Minister's decision showed that Irish medium education and the rights of parents to a choice appeared to have no place in Ms Breathnach and her Department's vision for the future of our education system.
