There has been a serious road crash near Kinnegad, it has been reported.
AA Roadwatch said emergency services are dealing with the collision in the overtaking lane of the eastbound carriageway of the M6, approximately three kilometres from the Kinnegad junction (junction 12).
A Garda spokesman could provide no further details on the crash.
