A Dublin man was charged at the Special Criminal Court yesterday with having a sawn-off shotgun at his home last March. Mr Geoffrey Keegan (26), of School Street flats, School Street, Dublin, was charged with possession of the doublebarrelled weapon at his home and possession of the gun for an unlawful purpose on March 11th last.
He was remanded in custody until November 14th.
