Reed's Tale

Born 1943, in Brooklyn. Founding member of The Velvet Underground, working in close proximity with Andy Warhol. Later an important influence on David Bowie and the Glam-Rock of the 1970s. Equally significant influence on Punk and post-Punk. His classic recordings include Transformer (1972), Rock n'Roll Animal (1974), Street Hassle (1976) and New York (1989). His current album is entitled A Perfect Night Live In London.
