FRANKFURT - A German mother of three went on trial yesterday to face charges of murder and kidnapping in connection with attacks carried out by Red Army Faction (RAF) guerrillas in 1977.
Ms Monika Haas (47), was accused of aiding in the hijacking that year by Palestinian guerrillas of a Lufthansa airliner and helping to kidnap a German industrialist, Hans Martin Schleyer, who was later found dead in a car boot.
